Dr Carolyn Allen

Dr Allen was appointed as a member in April 2004. She is also a member of the COC. She is a science writer with expertise in 'translating' complex science into more accessible language, and a particular interest in public health issues. She has a background in medical research and is a member of the Association of British Science Writers.
